Great Uniform Pant
This ... has been perfect for my 2 ... They are made so well that I can use them for both of my ... most times still be able to pass them along to my nephew.

seem durable
I was a loyal Old Navy uniform pant purchaser (for 5 years, I think) until this year when they all started getting huge holes in them. My ... have only worn these Gap ... once so far but they seem much, much thicker than the old navy ones, but i was pleased that the cut is very similar to the old navy- i love the way the Old Navy slim fits them--very crisp looking, and the Gap ... seem to be the same fit with cotton 3x as thick. It seems that the Gap ones go on sale, so I don't think that the price difference is necessarily huge as I thought- though I do buy a lot of "uniform" ... my ... have a dress code, not a uniform. I am writing this review because I thought my ... had just started being much rougher in their ... ripping was getting way out of hand) before I read a review on Old Navy saying that they remade the ... suggesting the Gap ... am really grateful because I did not know what to do and despite my best efforts I was sending them to school with visible holes in their ... (Ouch.) So far the Gap ... great solution.

A kid''s wardrobe staple!
I LOVE these khakis! I've been buying them for several years now. Great durability (especially in the knees!) with quality fabric for my rough n-tumble ... They always look great for church or school; the stain resistance really works. Both the regular and husky run true to ... no complaints about comfort from my ...

my grandson has required huskys for quite a few years and i have been able to purchase them from both gap and old navy. i just wish that they could come in different lengths. other than that, they are a great item and as long as he needs ... ordering them or buying in your stores.

Upset about new button.
I've been buying these ... 4 years now. Since my ... started school. I loved the way they fit, and true to ... due to the fact that my ... husky they have been wonderful. BUT I am very disappointed that gap has changed them from the hook and eye clasp to a regular button making them difficult to button for my 6 and 7 year old. I'm sending them back. GAP please bring back the original closure and get rid of the button!!!!!!!

Not impressed
I was hoping these khakis would fit my 5 yr old ... son. However, ... huge everywhere. I used the adjustable waist and ... still look as if ... hanging on him. I need to find a pair of huskies that are slimmer in the legs but wide around the hips and waist. My son normally wears a ... 7, but the ... 6 in these fit him better ... run very long).

Bought for a tall, only slightly ... 5 year old and compared to other huskys in the same ... these were a lot shorter with a lot less give for my son's bit of a belly. Worn for a Christmas pageant at school, and am not confident they'll fit at all after a couple of washes.

Gap ... school
These are the perfect school unifornmk ... I've been buying them since my 16 year old was in grade school. Very durable. Occasionally I had a pair that i coud pass down to m little boys. I can buy them nline each year because they are always true to size from pair to pair and ear to year. They look nice enugh and wear well so they can wear them to church if they want to.

Great pants!!
I buy these pants for my 2 boys every year for school and they hold up better than any other brand I've bought. They are durable and they think that they are comfortable which means alot coming from two boys that don't like to wear dress pants!! They love the slip hook at the waist because they aren't messing with buttons. The pants don't shrink or fade and stay looking nice all year long!! I wouldn't buy any other brand!

best school ... out there!
My boys kill the knees of their ... very quickly. These ... lasted 6 months- forever in pant years!!!! great product, I will only buy GAP chinos from now on.

Fantasic ... Husky ...
These ... fit my son perfectly, who is a Husky ... 8. He has worn them much longer than most ... stain resistance really does work, and most often I do not even have to iron them if I take them out of the dryer at the right time. I will be buying these for years to come.

Love the feel!!!!
My boys have only worn these ... 2 times since school started for chapel days at school (rest of the time they wore the corresponding shorts) & they have been great. I love the softness to them. Although we haven't had them long enough to test the durability of them, like the knees, I feel like they will last the year.

Shielded
These GAPShield pleated pants are excellent. My son has to wear navy pants to his school as a uniform and I wouldn't choose any other brand for him. He's a tall, growing 13 year old and I love that the size was true to size. He has some room to grow in them, length wise. What's exciting to see is that they aren't too short! He is lanky, so the adjustable waist makes them able to fit his small waist. I purchased two pair of Size 16 Boys and until the next growth spurt, I expect these pants to last us through first semester. The fabric is terrific too....very durable, not stiff and stays pressed. Thanks GAP!

Husky ...
we love these ... My son is not very husky but has some meat on him and doesn't fit well in regular size ... We love these ... very well made and durable. He is growing very fast and when he grows out of these ... there is still plenty of good use in them. I will be buying them for years to come. Thanks Gap!

not consistent
I've ordered only Gap pants for my boys for school for the last 2 yrs. and I love them because they last. One of my sons is very thin and I ordered 3 times until I found the right fit- the regular waists are too tight and the husky too big and then you wash them and they shrink- It was very frustrating! I'd love to see consistency in the progression of the sizes. Overall they are great pants and a great value.

Husky sizes are gargantuan
Beware of the sizing charts on this website - I went by the height, weight and waist sizes and my son, by the chart, should have been a "husky" size 7. I could have fit two of him inside those ... They run really generous for the husky sizes. We had to return them for regular size, which will be a little snug around his waist, unfortunately.

Disappointed
We've bought these ... over 7 years for our boys as part of their required school uniform. This is the first year we've been disappointed- all 3 sizes of ... purchased fit in the waist, but the lengths were way too long. Even more frustrating is that this year the on line purchases must be returned through the mail and you only have 30 days from the date purchased to return them (i.e. not 30 days from when received!). It's hard enough to "guess" the correct size (stores don't carry the pleated version), but now that we have to pay to return them via the mail, [...]
