big ... little boys
The solid briefs for boys look very similar to adult briefs. My son felt very much like a big ... briefs wash and wear well and are very comfortable. As with most Gap items, they shrunk so you may need to size uo.

I bought a pack of these for my 12 year old son and he absolutley loved them. I will definately be buying more gap briefs for him as he needs them!

Fav boys ...
My boys love these ... They have outgrown the printed ... only want white or gray. They would love to wear a solid navy or solid black, but Gap doesn't offer it. My only complaint is that the XXL is always sold out in the white/gray colors. Why is this? Also, order one size up from your child's normal pant size.

Waist is a bit tight
I agree with the reviewer who said that the waist is tight. I have two boys one is slim and the other is average. The briefs are perfect for the slim one, but my other son ruined several new pairs trying to stretch the waist, even though the rest of ... not tight. I had to stop ordering Gap briefs for him because he would stretch and pull at the waist until he tore them.

I like your plain briefs. They are durable and confortable. The sizes run a little bit small in the waist. I do not like your print briefs. The designs are all geared for a little ...

Son likes these
My 8 year old son says these briefs are just fine. They seemed to come through the first wash with flying colors -- they don't look like they shrunk very much if any. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 only because they would be that much nicer if the elastic waist band were encased...

Screen Printed Sizing Washes Off White/Gray Boys Underpants
These are great underpants, but the screen printed size on the fabric is cheap. I have two boys who wear different sizes and after only a few washings the sizes flake off and I can't tell whose is whose unless I lay them out and measure them on top of each other. I appreciate the comfort factor of not having a scratchy tag on the skin, but Gap needs to use a higher quality screen print like the little girls underpants. The printing doesn't seem to come off my daughter's white GAP underpants. I guess I need to buy a fabric marker and maybe in the meantime, GAP will improve this otherwise great product. PS. Can't you make more of your clothes in the USA?

Disappointed in quality
I have been buying my boys ... Gap for the last 7 years. Not happy with the latest order. Very thin material and the elastic fell apart at seam after first wash on all three pair.

Returning
I usually purchase Gap briefs for my 7 year old. But Gap was sold out and these are much cheaper. Well, you get what you pay for! They are NOT true to size. I could have fit in them! Much thinner material. Waist band is thin. Returning and going to see if I can purchase my tried and true Gap briefs at the store.
