Not too big
I think the problem with other reviewers is that they have grown use to Gap clothes, which normally run big for the stated size. So, an extra small at the Gap will run bigger then and an extra small at Banana Republic (same goes for pants). Really, they are each just marketing to a certain demographic. This blazer fits more "true to size" then most of the others that the Gap sells (for some unknown reason). They should have called this a "tailored" blazer, which is code for "fitted", which is code for "not as big as other clothes we sell which are similarly labeled in size." Anyway, when Gap shoppers purchase this blazer, they will think it?s too small. Sizing is manipulative, subjective, and just plain trivial. Lucky they have such liberal mail order return policies.

Worth for money.
I tried the coat on at the store first before buying it online. The material is great. I found out that Gap's Blazer doesn't standardize the size. Each blazer is vary size. The one I ordered online came too big. The sleeve was too long. I'm very disappointed at first. However, Gap allowed me to exchange at the store. So I actually tried each one and fortunately I found the one that fits my size. The bottom line is you need to try it on at the store in order to get the one that fits your size. I would give it 5 stars if the size of the blazer is standard.

Way too Small
I wear a 44 blazer. Sometimes 44s are too big. Not in this case. According to the size chart, the large blazer correlates to a 42-44 blazer size. Not so. There's no way this coat is a 44. Unfortunately, I was swimming in the XL. Plus, the sleeves are way too long, and with working buttons, they'll be pricey to alter, if not impossible. Thumbs down. With a little altering, Old Navy's ... far superior for half the price.
