Best khakis/casual work ...
I have tried many different khakis for work over the years and these have been the best ... best wash, least wrinkle. I own 2 pairs (black & ... getting another pair. They look dressy or casual.

Great Work/Casual ...
I purchased the Taliored ... - Slim ... version of these before, and though I like the leg on those, they were just too tight in the crotch to be sitting down at a desk all day. This Relaxed ... version remedies that without the legs being too baggy. If you're tall and slender (I wear 32W 36L) and, shall we say... somewhat 'endowed' in the back, this is a good ... I'm purchasing a ... pair today to go with the black ones I already have.

Great Deal
My husband is very picky about his close. He likes to be comfortable and professional. He is hooked on these ... He has several khakis as well as black and navy. He can pair them with any type of shirt sweater, or suit jacket.

A little too short
I bought these khakis for my boyfriend on line. I was sooo happy to find affordable khakis WITHOUT PLEATS, in the right color, & size. The khakis were delivered sooner than expected & looked fantastic. However, when he tried them on they were noticeable too short and a little too loose, even for relaxed ... would reccommend going in store to try the sizes & fits on in person.

I love the look of these ... am so glad I purchased them in black for my husband. They are a nice alternative to dress slacks with the same clean appearance. Very versatile!

Fan of GAP khakis
My husband has worn GAP ... years. These ... well, wear well, look crisp. The fabric is thinner than the older ... he has, but that makes them a little less casual.

Truth Be Told
First, I had to return the 2 pair I bought, twice, because they run short. A 30" in seam is anywhere from 28.5-29". That's four pair! Finally gave up and exchanged for 32" which came in at 31 and 31.5" respectively. Had to pay to have them shortened. Don't be mislead. These are wrinkle free---sort of. The crease is not permanent. These are not permanent press. After washing and hang drying they need pressing if one wants a neat/crisp appearance. On the upside, they're fairly well made and feel soft on the legs. The waist curtain and pockets are quite fancy but I don't wear my khakis inside out. I'd rather have the inseam measure what the tag says. All in all: wait for a sale or use a coupon to buy these khakis. Don't pay full price!

EXTREMELY UNSATISFIED
I PLACED MY ORDER ON BLACK FRIDAY. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY ORDER. CANNOT BELIEVE THE GAP TAKES THIS LONG TO SHIP AN ITEM THAT WAS IN STOCK. RIDICULOUS. WILL NEVER ORDER OR SHOP HERE AGAIN. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. AT LEAST IF THE GAP WOULD HAVE SENT AN EMAIL ADVISING OF EXPECTED DELAY OR WAIT TIME I WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHAT TO EXPECT. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN ZERO STARS, BUT APPARENTLY THAT ISNT AN OPTION.

Perfect, tailored ...
I got these for my husband, first in the ... so perfectly that I had to get the black. They ... absolutely perfect. He is 5'10, 165#. Finally a pant that looks as if they were made just for him. No sagging crotch, fitted in the seat but not too tight, just right. So far he has only worn them to the office, but for a business casual event or out to dinner with friends they're great. Highly recommend.

Hot
These pants are pretty hot. All the chicks in my office comment when I wear them. The black is great for work and going out late. These are not really running to the grocery store pants, too tailored. I am also so happy that not only does someone make 35 waist pants, but someone makes really awesome 35 waist pants.

Pants were a good purchase!
I am very happy with my Gap black slacks. The quality and fit are very good. I always want deeper front pockets, but that's a criticism I have with most pants these days. (There is a little key sub pocket in one of the front pockets.) These pants are well made and I hope to purchase more of the same style in the future.

Nice ...
It is difficult to find the right pants since I am 5'4" and about 145 lbs--I can't purchase any pants in the store without having to have them altered which often means the rise is way too long and the tapered leg is cut off leaving me with bell bottoms. I haven't ordered pants online through the Gap in six or seven years, but their option of 31 W 28L was always a perfect ... used to order the relaxed ... but since it has been a few years, I tried the slim ... both black and ... Without previewing the material and overall ... store, the pants arrived and the slim ... comfortable and the length and waist are perfect.

My sixth pair ordered -- that good
I'm 5'6" 150lbs and these pants fit well. I've ordered a new pair evey sixth months for the past three years because they fit great. Modern slim fit without being skinny, stain and wrinkle resistant too! I have the black and the ... they both fit the same. I also own the classic fit in addition to the slim. The classics are better for work because the slim fit are very close to looking too casual. If you are naturally thin or lean or short, these are for you. Seeing a 6 ft 180. Lb man in these pants I think would look too tight for work, but for a slim fit pair of black pants for a night out these a great option for the price. I've paired them with shirt, tie, jacket combos and tees and a denim jacket. If you wear a suit to work, these will not be suitable for your workplace.

I purchased these for my son who is 6'8" and slim, but with an athletic build. They ... him to a t. He loves them so much he doesn't want to get them dirty at work! Very nice smooth finish, that doesn't pick up lint--we chose black, and that is always a concern. we ordered him a 33/36. Thanks, and nice job, Gap!

Great slim fitting pants
These are great ... My fiancee got them for me in black for Christmas. I was apprehensive at first, since I don't wear particularly fitted ... but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the way they ... Do keep in mind that I'm a super slim guy though - I wear a 30 inch waist with a 34 inch inseam. That's the size I ordered, and they were definitely true to size. Not too tight or, you know, vulgar.

Iron Super Fast!
I bought the tan khakhis in the store previously and I was pretty impressed. So I decided to order the black ones as well. They are heavy but comfortable and iron very fast. The color hasn't faded one bit after the first wash. I went with the slim fit because I was ordering 1 size longer from the previous straight fit that was perfect. I didn't want the new one to be too big. And my guess was correct. The slim fit ... better in the bigger size. I wear these at work in a floor sales job.

Good
These are cut really well. I have them in black too. BE CAREFUL, though, they shrink in the dryer.

half & half
I bought two pair of the slim fit khakis: same exact size, one black, one tan. The black pair fit like a glove and I am totally pleased with them. For some reason the tan pair is too large; the waist was OK but the upper legs were baggy like a relaxed fit however the bottom of the pant leg still tapered like a slim fit (yes, like a "Hammer time" parachute pant).I checked the size on the label and it said it was a slim fit, the same size I ordered. The invoice said it was the same size I had ordered. But there was no getting around the fact that these two pair of pants fit completely differently. Needless to say the tan pair is going back. By the way, the tan khakis really aren't tan like a typical pair of khakis might be -- they have a greenish, olive drab tint to them. I felt like I had put on a pair of Dockers (and that's not good).

Fade Away
These pants are a good compromise for people who want a slightly slimmer fit but need to still have a crisp, professional look. At the waist and through the leg it's comfortable, and the tapering down to the ankle helps create a nice slim silhouette. I've purchased eight of them. The ONLY PROBLEM I have with these pants is that they remain black for about one or two cleanings, after which they go from being black to dark gray. Part of the reason I've had to purchase so many is that after a couple of months these pants are so faded as to be an embarrassment to wear.
