Really Good
It fits perfectly and it is very flexible and comfortable. The couses are a little bit big but it is good fit for overall. Higly recommended.

GREAT SHIRTS EXCEPT FOR ONE!
So I bought all the nice colors which are sportscar blue, blue river, optic white, true black, new vineyard, and fossil blue. They are all nice colors, but it looks like FOSSIL BLUE is ladies choice. I tested both from the gap lady on the phone and a friend of mine. Fossil blue seemed to be their favorite and it's true. When I wear it, I can see women's eyes land on me and I just smile when they do and they smile back lol. They are all nice. I will say one thing is that the blue river ... very nice, BUT the collar and the sleeve wrist are big. The length is fine, but the collar and the sleeve opening is about and inch too big. I can easily slide my hand in and out VERY easily from the sleeve because the opening is so loose. I don't really like that. I still keep the ... because I love the color and generally it fits okay, I just wish it fit like the other shirts. One more thing I will say about the sportscar blue. I just got it today and it does not look like the picture. It's not really that bright of a purplish color. It's much darker. It's looks like dark blue and dark purple mixed together. They would look okay with dark wash jeans. So these are very nice comfortable shirts except for that blue river one. It's fits, just the openings ran big so i can't tell you to go a size down because if you do, it might make the openings smaller but it will shorten the length of the ... your wrists will show threw and it will look too tight. So it's not the fit, just the odd collar and wrists. Well, I hope I was able to help. :)

Great ...
Great Shrit....i have it in 5 colors...i have big shoulders and have to wear the xxxl...but since it's slim fit, it fits great....if you know how to iron or take it to get stream pressed at the cleaners the collar issue people are talking about is fine...

For one, the shirts are very nice and fit very great! I got the new vineyard, black, and white and the fossil blue still on it's way. The only one i was a little off about was the New Vineyard one... I didn't really know what color it was or what would match with it. When I got it, it looks more like the same color the joker wears in the Batman Dark Knight Movie. So it's pretty slick. It looks great with some dark blue jeans or black. I love it. [...] i got very frustrated when my black ... had a fold wrinkle on the color because of the way they put it in the bag. It's so annoying! WHY THE COLLAR!!! couldn't they have wrinkled another part that is easy to ignore??? It pokes upward when i put it on. I don't want to return this ... just for this and it's not worth paying MORE money to dry clean it. So I tried to iron it straight and it worked mostly but now there is like a burn shine on one collar. I can't ignore that because when you pay that much money for a ... should get your money's worth. If it was at a low clearance price I wouldn't care. Now I have to return it and HOPE they are careful when they send me a new one. I can't come down on the stars because the shirts deserve five stars, it's just the way they pack things that really can ruin your gift. If it was a casual cotton ... wouldn't matter, You can just iron it and it's fine because it's like a T ... These dress shirts are different. It's such a nice ... but i have to wait for it to be delivered again. TOTAL BUMMER!

Bought another ...
Yep, when I saw they added ice blue, i again asked a lady friend if she liked that and she did so I picked it. She mentioned it would look good if you wear that with dark jeans so that your top body sticks out. Right after she said that, i saw gap had their models wear her idea. I bought it and got it and am wearing it right now. it fits great! no complaints. I didn't bother with the pink one, i'd rather wear purple, i saw that pink one in the store and it looks okay if you want to prove something by wearing a pink ... but that ice blue one is great. So yep, got all the great colors. Just wish they would have some of the basic like a strong red or a navy blue i really want those, but i do love the unique colors on these shirts though.

So close
For reference, I'm 6 foot, 170, athletic build. I've been trying to find a truly slim fit / fitted ... awhile, and snagged a MEDIUM, "optic white" on sale to give it a try. Quality wise, it's about on par with a lot of other shirts in the under-$50 price range you'd find at [@], etc., perhaps a little on the cheap feeling side, but not by much. Fit wise it's really close. I wear a 16 or 16.5 neck, 34/35 sleeve dress ... great slim fit in the chest down through the waist. Sleeves are probably a touch under 34, but the still work fine for me. The neck is where it just misses the mark. It's probably around a 15 neck, maybe 15.5, and it's just too small for me. It's a shame too, because it's such a great fit otherwise, and the quality is good enough I'd wear it with a suit, but without a properly fitting neck, what's the point. I can still wear it without a tie, top button undone though, and it looks great. I have CK, DKNY slim fit shirts that were about the same price, and I'd wear this one over those EXCEPT for the neck issue.

Great fit and colors
I purchased three of these and Lilac, Vineyard and Sports Car Blue. My favorite color is the Vineyard. It's a deep rich color that pairs well with dark jeans. The fabric has a nice feel to it. The fit is slim, but not tight. I hate when shirts fit in the neck and sholders and are loose thru the torso! ... length is good.

Stretch slim shirts L Tall
Great length on sleeves and body. I'm a 15.5 x 36 dress ... sleeves/body length are great on this ... Neck size and sleeve openings are way too big for me to wear this as a dress ... but OK for casual ... pretty standard when it comes to standard size (i.e., S, M, L, XL) button up shirts. Construction seems good. Material is a little thin/transparent, but good for this price point.

Very Slim!
I had ordered this as a gift for my husband to go with the tailored pants. He wears a Medium and usually has no trouble. The torso of this ... fit AWESOME. However, the arms were a bit too slim and thus, we could not keep it. My husband isn't huge, but he does work out on a consistent basis. I was bummed that our local store did not carry the true indigo and we ended up just returning it rather than sizing up. My husband didn't seem to mind as much as I did. I think he liked the idea that he had to return a ... because his muscles were too big. Figures.

Nice but too long
I'm 6' 3" tall with a long torso. I've been buying gap XLT slim fit stuff for some time now with decent success. This ... far the longest XLT I've purchased.. Since I intended to wear it untucked, the extra length was a big problem. I ended up returning it at a gap store.

Careful with the mark down shirts.
Okay, now the shirts are generally fine, however there is a problem with the ones that get marked down to be replaced. THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW IF THEY ARE USED RETURNED SHIRTS OR NEW SHIRTS! I really wanted the cast iron ... other light gray one, only was able to get the cast iron and it's a return someone else wore. It said it on the bag when I opened it, but not when I buy it online. I'm not in love with it and I think that is why. I could see where the tag was ripped off and it looks like it was professionally dry cleaned. I can see the shine around the neck and particle ruffles all over the ... smells a little different. Not horrible, but possibly an attempt from Gap to try to clean it up to resell it. I am not really happy with it. It was nice of them to deliver it so quick right before Christmas, but compared to the other ... colors I bought, this isn't too nice. At the color, there is usually this plastic sticks to keep the collar spread. THEY ARE MISSING!!! Could have at least put those in there before reselling it to me. I don't want to buy anything used. I think I am going to have to return it. I am just letting you guys know to beware of the marked down shirts. If you get a new ... lucky for you, but if it's a used refurbished ... consider if the mark down is worth the money. Color still looks great, quality is eh... You know how people can tell when someone buys a cheap suit? Well I don't want to give that impression with my shirts. So I am going to return it. It feels like it may have shrunk a bit when it was dry cleaned or washed. Have fun shopping guys, but do it cautiously.

Hubby loves these
I ordered a bunch of these for my husband, and now he wants more! He loves the light and thin material for summer and the shape is perfect! Not to wide or bulky and makes his figure look nice and slender. He wears an XXL, so we had to order them online. He say's they are comfortable and looks nice enough to wear with jeans and shorts when he goes out. I will be ordering more! So far, these are the best t shirts we purchased from Gap.

Great T!
My husband FINALLY has some T's that fit! I love that GAP offers a medium tall! (He's 6'4 and 162lbs.) It's easy to find big and tall...but not sizes for the tall and thin man. This T is a good weight and has a just right fit. It's not too big and not clingy. It would be great if they were offered in the stores as well as on line.

Why is everyone giving these t's a bad review?Sure it's thinner and a little more fitted but who wants a big oversized thick and heavy t ... love mine and will order more colors.

About my favorite T ... ~ Great fit and works one size smaller
I'm almost embarrassed to say I wear this Gap T ... much as anything these days. Night out? Yep. Dinner downtown? Apparently so. The colored versions like the dark charcoal dress up or down with some slim fit cords and loafers. Wear under a V Neck or blazer. The fabric is not too thick, like a Hanes Beefy T, closer to the American Apparel style, which is far preferable. They are 100% cotton with some slight stretch and made well. I'm 6'3 and 195lb and can wear a LG and even go one size down to a Medium. Basically fit to size, though but if wanting to go just a hair smaller, these work well. I have this ... Black, White, and Dark Gray and recommend them all. Of note, I would take care to only wash in COLD TAP and avoid stretching out the neck, which can get too big if not careful. Of the big name stores, Gap makes about the best T in my view.

Love the color
I bought this for my husband. It's not quite red and not quite orange in color. He loves it and I love it. Size is good, bought a large He's 5' 9" and 195, (military works out everyday so big shoulders, chest and arms). The Gap tees work well for him b/c there not super tight on his chest and arms, so he doesn't look like he's wearing a ... too small.Washes well and doesn't shrink.

Nice Tee!!
I ordered a couple of these for my husband. He's a big guy- and the XXL Tall fits him perfect. It's a fitted tee- lightweight and very soft. He loves these shirts! I will definitely buy more. One thing you should know, I bought the Cosmetic Pink which is actually like a dusty rose color. The color is very pretty, but it's really not pink. We kept this ... anyway, and it looks great on my husband. Overall, very pleased with these shirts!!

Regarding this New Crewneck T ... wanted to say a few things, in the hopes that the Gap will better improve it.The ... overall fits nicely, except that it needs to be an inch or two longer (and for the fact that these shirts always shrink), and the sleeves need to be a little longer, they are too girly, not manly enough; a man's sleeve should come down longer, otherwise he looks too feminine. Also the colour of this ... awful, just awful, that is why I had to return it. I was under the impression that it was going to be the colour RED, which it is not; it is an orangey red, which just looks very silly and unuseable, and not practical at all. Please, Gap, please just come out with a plain true RED crewneck t ... one of the best colours on the market. You should also make your longsleeve crewneck shirts in the colour red also (I am referring to those ones that have the banded cuffs). Those longsleeve shirts are your best item your have, and the colours white and black are essential, and you must always have those, but you should really add the colour true RED as well. (And please make the cuffs tighter, and not so loose.)

I really like Gap T's, but like others have said, over the years they have gotten thinner. Other than that they are awesome. Oh yeah, if you're a bigger dude (I wear 2XL in everything), get these online and go up a size for comfort. I got the 3XL and they fit more like a 2XL...typical for Gap stuff. Seems like they cater only to the petite dudes....us big guys are left out in the stores.

Not enough of a change
I used to love Gap t shirts when I started buying the athletic fit around 2004 or so. For some reason, they then decided to change the t shirts to a thinner, less durable fabric, and made them too roomy, giving them neck holes that were far too big. The recent change was an improvement, don't get me wrong. The shirts are now more fitted, and they're longer than I ever remember them being, which were good changes. Unfortunately, the fabric is still much too flimsy, and the neck holes are still WAY too big, much as others have said. I started to have hope upon the release of the "city athlete t shirts," but unfortunately, they halted production of those t shirts too. Please bring back those shirts, are use more durable fabric and reasonable neck holes, or I will have to take my business somewhere else.

Protect your neck
Like the cut, like the thin fabric, not feeling the neck is to big. It is a nice T ... new crewneck but not perfect, alot closer that before, keep trying don't get discouraged GAP you will get it right someday.

completely underwhelmed
wow. Far from the perfect T. The material is pretty thin and feels like it's a couple washes away from falling apart. I bought a couple different colors and I noticed the white's tend to be sized a bit smaller then the dark colors. Just very short and uncomfortable. XL is too big for me, but I kinda wish I tried it, because the whites feel like they are a bit undersized. I regret buying these T's, without a doubt. Not sure why Gap done away with their old line of T's. These ones are garbage. Total waste of money and I can't recommend these T's to anyone.
