I really like these ...
I'm a big guy, and i always figured the skinny ... would look quit akward for my body type. I usually wear a 42 waist everywhere I go, no matter the store. I don't like the loose style because it's a little sloppy in my opinion. I really like the ... slim, but the leg from the knee down is straight, which makes these ... look less girly. I usually cuff my ... ankle for that cropped look and slap on my penny loafers and call it a day. The waist is a little loose, but I can live with that, just in case I want to have a hardy meal. The ... definitely darker than the images on the website; if you can scroll down on the page and look at the video of the ... they look like those. I usually like the dark ... these have a little too much whiskering onthe ... my usual preference, but I can live with that as well. All in all, these ... great for many shapes and sizes. I'm going to order the Selvage Skinnies next.

My son loves these ... don't know if ... true to size or not but ... him well. He is 14 yrs old and a very lean soccer player. He is too tall for kids' sizes and I've shopped most men's brands with a reputation for ... thin guys. This is the only brand that actually ... him. Love the quality and color, too.

Great for a big man with skinny legs
My husband is a 44 waist with a 30 inseam and VERY skinny legs. All other ... have a mass of excess fabric in the butt and back of the legs, making him look very short and much larger than he is. These are the best ... we have ever found. They ... perfect in the waist (we had to order a size smaller 42 because that is the way Gap ... without all of that extra fabric in the legs. He looks GREAT in these. They are very slimming and look tailored to ... If you are a large man with no butt and skinny legs BUY these ... After ordering two pair of skinny ... we have ordered two more pair. I have searched the web for other brands that carry a big man's skinny ... have not found a one. Maybe a small nich market - but one that he ... into.

Great ... even for big guys!
I love these ... my husband and he likes them too. I really wanted him to try skinny ... but he was convinced he'd hate them. He's 6 feet tall and has an athletic (football) build- not model skinny. He has a long torso also. He was afraid they'd look silly on him. He looks great in them! He doesn't take fashion risks usually so if he likes them ... must be wearable. ... skinny but not extreme. I would say ... slim... These ... great and flattering to various body types! A current take on your average guy ... I'd say go for it!

Finally a ...
I'm athletic, 6'3" 245lbs and everywhere I shop for ... they always seem to be too short until I tried these. I have big muscular thighs and these "skinny" ... weren't too tight at all. They ... true to size and like a pair of quality ... SHOULD ... like. The "baggy" look it out and the more ... look is in. Thanks GAP. My only recommendation would be to carry taller sizes in the stores.

I love these ... so well, any guy would look good in these. although ... do run a little long, thats no big deal. the ... quite a bit darker than the picture. ... similar to the levis 511.....but better, and ... priced pretty reasonably.........IF YOU WANT A GREAT PAIR OF ... BUY THESE ...

Great ...
I can go on and on about these ... love me. I'm a big guy... I wear a 42x32. The very first time I bought these ... very apprehensive about getting my true size, so I got the 44x32. The second time I got the 42x32 and they were PERFECT!!!!! Don't get me wrong, the 44's were great, but you really get the feel for skinnies with your true size. These are skinny but not TOO skinny like leggings. The only reason I'm giving them a four star rating is because I've bought them three times and each time they have torn in the crotch. That might just be my fault for just wearing them too much:), anyway, if you're wondering about getting them....... GET 'EM!

Great for tall thin guys...
These ... my boyfriend really well. He is 6'7" and very slim and these ... nicely around his legs without being too tight. ... aren't the type of skinny ... super tight to your legs or hard to get on. He thinks ... very comfortable and the 36" inseam was plenty long. These are great for going out and could easily be dressed up or down. I'm so glad Gap makes pants for super tall men. :)

Nice ... Big Man
My husband is large around the middle with very skinny legs. We have a hard time finding ... waist and don't have excessive bagging in the butt and the rear leg. These ... seemed to be the best we have found. The skinny cut maybe the ticket. We did order his regular size and they were to big. I think this maybe standard for Gap ... have to buy one or two sizes smaller to get the ... We have returned the first order and will order these again.

First time Skinny ... experience.
I bought these ... trip to Singapore. Since am a big time Gap fan thus I searched for the Gap shop and asked for these newly launched Skinny ... am not at all a fan of skinny ... but what Gap has made is something really fashionable and comfortable at the same time. I wear these almost daily when am back home and Sundays full day. The color, the fade, the whiskers, all things are very nicely done and suits even for my age. It surely is a good addition to my collection and I look forward to have the grey one as well.

Perfect for the price, designer esk...
These are really nice ... price. Good color and a nice ... make them look borderline designer esk. ... bit tight for me, but I have big calf muscles and quads, so I say that about most pants.

Great Pants
I've always loved the cuts of GAP pants, and the new line is great. I've always sided on the leaner cuts even when baggier was the big thing. Being skinny, I've always worried about pants with "square bottoms", but this Straight ... has a nice cut around your backside. This looks is good for work, leisure, and even casual church functions. If you're wanting slim ... pants with comfort in the waist, go for these. Great job designers.

Great costumer service
I originally bought my husband a size 36,but they were too big. He used to be a 34 but gained some weight. I we t back to the store to get a 35 but they only had them in short lengths. The salesgirl, ever so helpful told me I could get the longer length online. She didn't stop there, she called the online store and handed me the phone to order the exact size I needed, as well as refunded me for the wrong size I purchased. Five days later the 35 ... arrived and they ... my husband perfectly. He says they are comfortable and he looks hot in them.

Modern Classic
I bought these ... my boyfriend because all of his ... were relaxed with a lighter ... than I like. He is 6'6", 255lbs. It is hard to find modern looking clothing for a reasonable price. He said his ... 40 in the waist and 34L but I bought him a 42 for his waist and 34L just because the style is a slimmer ... he put them on they ... him like a glove! They were the right color, length ans most importantly size! They weren't too slim in the leg but they werent as box like or relaxed as his other ... They give him a long line on his leg which makes him look even taller. The pocket size was good too. As a side note; sometimes I notice mens ... pocket size in the behind are way too big. Anyway he can wear these ... date, out on the town with the boys or for casual friday. These are a modern classic and I will continue to purchase this style for him.

I LOVE THESE ... They are a big improvement over old Gap ... They ... like a glove and they ... my real size, instead of me having to size up like I used to do. I'm definitely going to order these in the distressed ... those come out, and I'm curious to try the Real Straights ... well

These ... run big in the waist
The first ... ordered were a 34 waist and when I tried them on, I was swimming in them. I have lost a little weight but my other 34" waist pants ... fine so these ... run big. I sent the first pair back. I have since ordered the 33" waist and they ... beautifully in the waist. I have short legs and I really appreciate the fact that I can get a 28" inseam on a pair of ... without altering them (which always looks like s**t). The length is still a bit long and I suspect longer than 28", but they're not dragging on the ground. These ... comfortable, stylish, and look great. I am so happy I found the GAP. I will continue to buy GAP ... now on. No more ill ... Levis!

Sexy
I bought these for my husband and I love the way they ... Although he's a big guy these are not baggy old man ... They're nice and lean in the leg and they make him look great.

My new favorite pair of ...
As the title of my review says, these are my new favorite pair of ... They ... well in all aspects - from where it sits on the waist (low), to the cut of the seat and leg. The openings at the bottom could be a little bigger as the legs seem to get caught up above the heel of my shoes, but it's not a big deal. The ... dark and consistent. The ... incredibly versatile and I wear them to work and when I go out. I can wear these ... variety of shirts, tucked or untucked. I'm also glad Gap got rid of the ugly 1969 sewn in patches on the back of the ... now have 1969 printed on the back instead. It was always an eyesore when I decided to tuck in a shirt and had that patch showing behind my belt.

DARKEST BEST
These ... got were excellent, I am very happy with the purchase I think i got much closer in my order here than i do in stores i like the legs of my ... lil shorter im not a big sagger but it does add a nice little touch when not done to an extreme. I cant wait to pair it with my high top tims when it gets colder i do wish the legs were a little fitter at the leg so the wouldnt drop over my shoes but this is a lot closer and better...overall excellent purchase I just hope i dont get to addicted to buying online. The straight ... great for those are to man for skinny ...

had to reorder new length
Normally I'm a 30x30 but for some reason the straight ... pair I already own were too long! So I ordered another in 30x28 and the length is perfect but I feel like the opening at the cuff is too big. I don't get GAP sometimes, I love their ... but I feel consistency is lacking. I have a "straight" ... pair of cords and the cuff is perfect (and length is perfect at 30x30) but those are cords. Anyway, the ... great, my only complaint is I had to go down in size and the cuff is still bigger than I expected almost like a boot ...

Looooong
I agree with most that these reviews, that these pants run very big. Usually I'll order my Gap ... long so I can ... them ONCE and get the perfect ... (im between a 32L and 34L) But these suckers are way to long. I'm walking on them all day. The color and everything else is spot on. Nice dark denim.

Great ... - PERIOD
These ... look and feel great. I'm 6'8" tall and the 36" inseam ... perfectly on me. ***My only complaint is that I wish GAP would come up with a better measuring system. I find a lot of inconsistencies in waist and inseam. As a tall guy that does a lot of online shopping, it would be nice to have a pretty good idea about ... without having to buy multiple pairs of pants and returning the ones that do not ...

My husband tried on reg length at mall gap. And we went home and ordered same size in tall 36*36. they're perfect. my husband is 6'4 and they are plenty long.

Big Improvement
Gap finally got their ... back to the way they used to be... for the cut at least. I started buying their ... back in '05. I'm vertically challenged so to find a 30/28 is next to impossible. But then something bad happened... their ... cuts were going downhill fast. It was so bad that in '09 when I bought a pair I put the ... sucked! I took a tape measure and found that the real cut was 31/31 when in fact I ordered 30/28. Anyway, I ordered this boot cut ... few months ago based on the reviews which were generally positive. Well, the cut is back to '05. It's excellent. However, I did give this 4 stars for a reason. The indigo blue is ok but I would prefer a darker color (they used to have an authentic vintage). But my biggest beef is with the lines/creases/whiskers that are all over these ... hate them. They're so fake and contrived. You can't even iron them out! I would rather achieve the real deal through regular wear and tear. If they could get rid of these 'lines' I would give five stars. And if you really want to bring '05 happiness back, put the cloth hooks back on the inside of the ... so I can have the ... hang dry from them after I ... them. Gap should know what I'm talking about and anybody who's bought their ... back then. Anyway, thanks for bringing quality back.

Nice ...
Bought 4 pairs of these ... my 14 yr old son. He is very thin with a 27" waist, and about 5'11" tall. It is difficult to find ... really ... him well. The waist is still a little big - but workable. I suggested a belt, but he does not use one - and they aren't falling down on him! :) As far as quality, it depends on the color you choose. We initially tried the blue black ... knee split open 2 weeks after we purchased them - and that was with regular wear, no harsh activity or crawling on the floor. All 4 pair he uses now are indigo ... which seems to be a better quality (a little heavier) ...

Confusing
My son is very hard to find ... He is very tall and thin and this was one of the few places we could find this size. The ... took quite a while to arrive but when they did we got a surprise. The indigo ... perfectly. We also ordered the exact same ... black ... they are HUGE on him. How could the same ... so differently? I now have to reorder ... return one of the 2 pairs we ordered. I don't like the inconsistency.

Internet only sizes
These ... were purchased for my tall, lean teenage son. These worked out well, but it is problematic that sizes such as 30 x 34 are available only on the website. ... really need to tried on. No two pairs are exactly the same. Luckily these worked out well. Nice finish and cut. The boot cit are quite slim. My son is 6' 1" and maybe 130 pounds and these are slim on him.

I buy alot of ... online from several places. I have to return alot of them because they don't ... they look nothing like they do online. Looks good and ... well
I really like the ... feel of these ... They look great as well. The ... perfect compromise for someone that doesn't want baggy or super tight skinny ... just right for me. Only problem I had was the first pair I ordered the waist was one size too big (32W). Sized down 1 and now they ... perfectly. Everything else ... expected. I would definitely pick up another pair if they had it in more colors.

these work/ watch sizing
So I got two pairs of ... exact same size. One is perfect, the other too big. The material and ... good. Being tall and pretty thin, there is no way to find my size in stores so I guess there is a little guesswork.

Excellent ...
Great pair of ... casual Friday, just make sure you order them a bit longer than say Levis. I should have gotten 34 length instead of 32, but no big deal. Excellent ... fantastic price.

Definitely satisfied
Although they ... little bigger than what I had expected, overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. They're a nice looking pair of ... boot cut is good for my tall/slender body type. Like I said, they ... little big on the waist and in the leg...and they're a little long. But as a tall person, I'd much rather have the ... too big than too small. Good buy.

Nice ... - But
These were nice ... but my husband is a large man with a large waist and skinny legs and not rear end. They were to big over all - we ordered his regular size - but I think Gap ... run big. They did not ... butt or the back of the legs. This was a trial, as we have never tried Gap ... him. I did not know they carried 44 waist until resently. We are going to try the skinny ... his size. That maybe a better cut for him.

These just weren't what I expected. Generally tight. Big mistake!!

This ... runs larger?
We had previously purchased the darker ... my husband and he LOVED them. They ... so well and he's such a hard to ... guy (very tall and thin). So we thought why not get them in other colors. Well, the medium ... arrived and the waist was easily 1-2" bigger as was the entire ... waist down. Very disappointed and had to return them.

not true to size
i've ordered several pairs of these, but i've had to return all of them because they've all been at least a size too big. i'm a 28/32, but the waist on these ... 28 is more like a 29 or a 30, which means they end up too loose in the seat and leg too. i had hoped the inconsistency in sizes that gap is notorious for would work to my benefit, and i would eventually end up with a pair that wasn't too loose or too snug. that didn't work out well; they all ... too loose. if they would make these true to size, like they've started doing with their t shirts, then i'd buy a couple pairs to kick around in until they bring back the old bootcut ... which i'm still pining for.

Nice ...
I bought these ... my 23 year old son. He is tall and thin and has trouble finding ... long enough with a 30 inch waist. These ... well, not too tight, not too loose and the 32 inch length ... him perfectly! They are priced right too. I bought him 3 pairs.

Great ...
This is the 3rd pair of these ... have ordered for my husband. He wears a 33x36 so it's impossible to find a pair for him in the store that ... him; we ordered these blindly online last year. They worked so well that we're now on pair number 3, as I said above. These ... perfect for my husband's tall, lean frame. The cut and the color (we got the REALLY dark rinse) are very modern and flattering on him. Both of us only wear Gap (or BR) denim and we'll continue to do so as long as Gap continues to make such awesome pants!

I have found my new favorite ... Not too high waisted, to low in the crotch, too big or small leg; just right. They could be a little heavier denim, and would love to see a BLACK RESIN finish, which is really an indigo or very dark blue...

Great!
I really like these ... hesitant to buy a new pair of Standards, because I love my old one's so much and these looked so different. But, they are just as comfortable and already feel broken in. The ... pretty dark, but dresses up nearly any outfit I match them in. Only complaint are the pocket designs- if I could change anything I would get rid of them. But, they're subtle enough that it's not that big of a deal. Great ... nice comfort, everything I expected!

I have Five pair
I love these ... so much so I have 5 pair of the same, 2 pair of another ... am a some what thick very tall guy 6'6" 280lb my size is 40x36 and they're not a lot of ... straight cut that will ... me. However this cut ... best, the only reason I give it 4 stars is it is a little tight in the buttocks region due to my shaply ness beceuase I have a plump round booty again these ... best even with that reality.

good to great
Have several pairs of these ... various degrees of fading. Dark for work, light for weekends. I like them since the length is longer than most 34" so i dont have to buy "tall" 36". When i do they tend to be too long. I also bought a size smaller in the waist, The rise in the front is good but in the back it is about 1/2" to 1" to high. This looks and feels odd. I have tried low rise, but they are not for me .In my opiinion, if the rear rise of the standard ... modified, the ... would go from good to great!

The waist runs big
I ordered my normal size and the waist was way too big. I ordered an inch smaller which was the smallest size available, seems close enough too my size wearing it. I just noticed that the belt loops are ridiculously big. I do not know how many people wear those wrestling title belts as their casual belt. The loops are almost 3 inches long. There is also a blue metal stud for the smaller pocket. They look pretty good overall once you find a size that ...

The standard ... were overall too loose. The waist size seemed one size bigger & the leg ... baggy. I figured the tall size ... were just the ... my husband who is 6"2 140lbs. I had to return for regular size 42" 32 length in the Authenic ... perfect ... Overall, he is a fan of the gap ... now.

Horrible! Sizing of 1969 ... has been inconsistent.
I purchased a standard pair for my boyfriend last year. Given that they have worn well and have managed to stand the test of time, I purchased another standard pair in the same size. I ... them and he wore them one day, only to discover that they were a complete disaster! By the end of the day, the ... looked aweful!Way too big and he was uncomfortable all day long. I will address this issue with The Gap.

These have those stupid "x" details on the back pockets and brass instead of silver heardware and not the white stitching either. Runs long and big.

My husband has a hard time finding ... because he is 6'5' and all leg. We are able to order these in the 36" inseam and they ... well without being too big (like some "big & tall" products). These are great after ... we've bought 4 pairs of these in different ...

Finally sized as advertised
This is the third pair of ... ordered for my tall/skinny son who is new to mens sizes. The other two pairs needed returned fro being too big in the waist (I ordered from Gap because they carry a 28 inch waist). The legs are not too baggy and the waist is a perfect ... Good looking ...

6 foot 1 inch, 33x34, these are the only ...
I hate buying ... If I find a pair I like, I'll wear them for a year and then go back to buy more and they won't ... same. That doesn't happen with Gap ... I've also found that since I'm size 33x34, that many brands aren't really 34 and they end up too short. Again, with Gap that's not a problem. I'm avoided Gap in the past because of the cost, but since I know they are the only ... me right I just watch the online sales until a good one comes along (30% off!). Right now I have 5 pairs of these ... my drawer. The only negative thing I have to say about them is that they are not durable in the pocket seams, they can tear easier than other brands (however, I'm pretty rough on things). It's not a big enough issue to avoid buying them though. If I want massive durability for a task at hand I'll throw on a pair of Carharts.

Bad sizing made right
I previously owned two pairs of these ... wore every day. When they finally wore out (one pair about a month before the other), I went online to purchase the same ... same size (I have to buy online because I wear 29W28L, not typically available in the store). When they arrived at home, I put on a pair and they were much too big. I tried the other pair and they were similarly too large. I laid them down on the bed on top of my old pair and they were clearly at least an inch too big in the waist and at least an inch too long. Clearly, they cut incorrectly or from the wrong guide. Bummer! So I took them into the store (#06806) at West Town Mall in Knoxville, TN. Susan S. found another pair of 29W28L from an internet return that ... great (luck!). Then she spent about half an hour helping me to evaluate other sizes and ... which I haven't done in a few years. I ended grabbing a nice pair of cords as well. The expertise and customer service effort of the staff, especially Susan S., is why I continue to buy Gap ... year after year.

Great ... great looking ...
I don't know what it is about the 1969 Standard Vintage ... version of these ... 34W x 36L were too big and the 33W x 36L ... just fine. Maybe just a hair long, but I expected that. The resin and ... versions 34W x 36L ... just fine. Weird. With all that in mind, these ... look great. These are the best ... have found in a long time.

Non standard size ... don''t cost a fortune
I have problems finding ... my son. He has a small waist and long legs. The 28 w 32 l ... were what we needed. The waist is a little larger than expected but it was not a big problem. Glad to find these ... price was reasonable and your customer service was excellent [...] and returns easy. Have already ordered more. Only wish you had more than just the vintage ...

These ... really have a terrific ... overall, once you figure out the size that's right for you. As with a lot of GAP pants, the sizes tend to run large (I wore 30w for ever, and now 29 is often too big... and I weigh at least 5 more pounds). I think these are a terrific antedote to all of the baggy, over sized ... currently out there, but still look well cut and modern. Definitely not "old guy" ... My 21 yr old son loves them. If you don't have much in the butt end, however, these pants may hang a bit.

Waist size seemed to change
The first pair I ordered were a little short - I ordered 30 inch inseams. When I got the same waist size with a 32 inch inseam, the waist was WAY too big. Frustrating! The same applied to the authentic ... ordered. Changing only the length made the waist (even though I didn't change the size) too big.

Waist is not true to size
I've worn 34 waist for longer than I can remember. When I tried these on I thought I'd lost a lot of weight or something because they were so loose/big. All my other pants ... so I know I didn't lose any weight. These ... just run a size too big. [...] Once I've done that I can give a higher rating.

Ka Darn was I disapointed
Been wearing gap ... ever. OK, not really for ever but probably 10 plus years . Always depend on a great ... wonderful ... until I got these. I'll keep them but I'm sure they will end up in the depths of my closet, color was strange, legs had sorta flair to them and were too short, while the waist was too big. I would advise not buying on line, go to a shop or look for another brand as these ... have become over priced.

Great ...
The Gap Standard ... have become my favorite ... Previously I always bought Levis ... but when Gap came out with the Authentic ... year or so ago I bought a pair. I liked them so much that I switched to Gap for my ... instead of Levis. When the Authentic ... were discontinued I bought a pair of the Standard ... liked them so much that I bought additional pairs. They ... well and look good. The legs are straight cut, not too tight or baggie. I'm tall and slender and find that these ... compliment any type shirt that I wear from pressed, casual, polo or t shirts. These ... can be worn casually or with a sport jacket.

Standard ... Just About As Good as Pants Get!
I am in the clothing business and have manufactured boat loads of pants over the years. My wife got sick of seeing me in the workwear brand I founded, so she bought me my first pair of Gap Standard ... two years ago. Since that time I have bought 6 more pairs. They are simply the best ... have ever owned. Every pair that I have purchased basically ... same. I will say they run a touch big, as I am a 34 waist, but can wear 32's and 33's in the Gap Standard ... great product for guys who want a stylish yet traditional look. The cut is just right for me. Relaxed enough for comfort, but not too baggy in the legs and seat, or too flared at the bottoms. Despite the fact that I make my own pants, I still find myself spending the money on Gap Standard ... They are worth it!

Tall & Skinny
It's very difficult to find ... someone who is tall and so skinny. Thanks to GAP my son now has ... him properly.

OK, but strange ... pattern
Got these online because store doesn't carry 35" waist. Good ... but the waist size runs a little big. My biggest complaint is the strange pattern their ... technique produces. There are horizontal lines across the lap area. You know the creases you get in the front of some pants after sitting for an extended period? It looks just like that - except permanent! Why?! You should also know that these are not your standard weight ... fabric. Noticeably thinner and light weight.

Not cool
I ordered the exact same ... exact same size in a different ... two ... completely different. This pair was extremely tight and the other ... entirely too big and swallowed me up. I need a ... same no matter what the ...

Sizing is not consistent
Bought two pairs of 31-34s. One pair ... perfectly, the waist on the other was way too big and they had to be returned.

GREAT ...
GREAT ... Big improvement over old Gap ... They fit my real size. I'm definitely going to order these in the distressed ... those come out. I recently made an other order but in dark stonewash.

I have big legs, so I ordered these EASY fit ... trying to get something with a little bit wider leg than the STANDARD fit, and these hit the spot. They don't look baggy and are super comfy. Switching to EASY fit from now on!

Beautifully taylored Jeans
I've been working out for a long time so a lot of jeans don't fit me right because my waist is slim but my legs (thighs really) are big. The standard jeans have been my go toos but recently have been too tight because I've been increasing my weight training for my legs. Yeah, they are getting pretty big! So I went to gap and tried on ALL of their jeans and found the perfect fit for me, the EASY fit! They fit great! At least these did. I hope their other washes of the same style fit the same way. Get these if you work out and have the same problem that I had. I can garantee that you'll like the way these fit!

Great pair of ... dont buy many ... normally, I usually have two pairs I switch between for a couple of years so I'm a bit hesitant to buy them online. They have to be multi faceted and these fit the bill pretty good, just a tad bit too big. Might be my own fault, not really big on measuring myself so I went off my last pair of ... went with the same number not realizing "hey maybe I lost some weight in two years". Go figure.

Nice, but they don''t fit like other gap clothing
I had tried both the standard jeans which were a little too tight, and the loose jeans which seemed to be too big, and so I thought the easy jeans would be perfect. I am a big guy, 6'4" 245lbs and I already wear the Gap relaxed fit khakis in a 38x34, which fit me perfectly. These easy fit jeans look good on me, and my fiancee loves them on me. However, even though they're the same size (and supposedly same fit) as my beloved khakis, the waist is about an inch be too big, and the the opening through the thighs feels pretty tight. With that said, I still like the way they look on me, I just wish they fit a little better. Gap almost hit a home run with these jeans.

tall dudes need ... too!
I've been buying all my ... Old Navy for as long as I can remember because they're the only place that sells a 36" inseam, or so I thought. Not only do these ... come long enough, they come in a 35" waist! I thought odd numbers didn't exist in the universe of ... Amazing! And the easy fit is good for someone with... hmmm, how shall I put this? [...]Yup, I'm a thin dude, with muscley thighs and butt. And they fit great.

Waist to Big!
These ... getting worse on sizing. I have bought same size and the waist is way to big! Easy fit ... Never have my leg length.

Nice vintage colour, but too snug fit
At 6'5" I find buying good fitting, stylish clothes difficult so the GAP tall range is where I often shop. I think these ... quite expensive for their fit/quality. I had to cut of flaws in the denim.

Way too big in the waist
These pants are pretty much unwearable. Online ordering is always a bit of a gamble, but these ... really missed the mark. I ordered a 35 inch waist - because that is my size! The pants are a good 3 or 4 inches too big in the waist. The tag says 35, but these pants are clearly a 38 or larger. Bummer. Next time I'll just go to the store and try them on - like we used to do in the olden days.

The Legs are really tight
I thought these ... were just too tight for me in the legs. The waist and length seemed fine. I am 5'-10" tall and 200 pounds, so if you are the same size I would not recommend these ...

Great ...
Thank God, finally a pair of 28 x 32. My son is very tall and thin, have had a terrible time finding ... waist that's not too big, although he still needs a belt with the 28 waist, and that is long enough and loose enough that he's comfortable. Ordered 4 pairs may have to order 4 more and hope he doesn't get taller until his waist fills out!

Horrible label good ...
Whoever decided it was a good idea to put big white letters on the waist of the ... should be fired. The web site doesn't show ... o nthe ... (probably because ... know ... wouldn't sell any like that.). ... not on the ... store (I guess the stores are smart enough to remove them so you just see the faint outline of where ... were). I just about ruined them trying to get them off. ... well and I like the ... but anyone over the age of 2 is not going to like the label. The ... get 5 stars...the label gets -40.

1969 Low Rise surprise
I have rarely written a review of anything in my entire life but I feel compelled to chime in about these ... VERY disappointed when I received my two new pair or 1969 Dark stonewashed ... Yes, ... now riding low and I hate the feeling. I bet I've bought 25 pairs of these ... last 20 years and I have always loved them. I paid $40/pr for most of those years. Now ... [$] and not nearly as good. I choose to keep them because I really needed some new ... but I'm not very happy with them. I hate the low rise feel. As for the stitching on the back pockets, I kind of like it but I think it was a big mistake that ... didn't put it 1" higher. The design is fine but it looks stupid that low on the pocket. Please return to the old design!!!!

Disgruntled in San Francisco
The ... fine, but too long as expected. I am 6' 2" and wear a size 38 x 34. No one would think I was freakishly over weight or tall, but for some reason I can not find my size at a GAP store. ... stock 38 x 30, but not my size. I have worn the same style for years, but now it is only available on line and now only in 36 inch lengths. So after all the baiting about ... sale, I have a pair that I paid over [$] for and that doesn't include taking them to a tailer to have the two inches removed from the bottom, which will be another $10 bucks. Not too happy.

Didn''t Work
I have trouble finding ... my very tall husband, so I was hoping ... would work. The length ... but ... were a little too big at the top. Also, I didn't care for the ... which is hard to see in the picture. Oh well, I'll try again!

Too tight overall, not that attractive
I'm really not a big guy at all but I found these too tight and uncomfortable. Not to mention that when I got them ... weren't as good looking as the picture. I really like Old Navy ... have found that I can get them in my waste size and ... perfectly. Being the parent company of Old Navy I made the incorrect assumption that GAP ... would be the same. Not so much. I will be returning these and I think I will just stick with the Old Navy ... future.

Good all around
Had to get these ... my big pre teen guy whose husky ... waist but were way too long. These look nice, have a nice finish and ... well. Only the rear/pocket area is a little "off", the pockets are a little low but maybe that is just the way they are for a young guy vs. an older teen/man. Not bad though, my son always liked Gap ... since he was a young kid.

Gap ... Great
My grandson is 14, tall and thin. These are the only ... he is happy with. I have been buying gap ... him since he was about 7.

Really like these.
I bought these for my son as a gift. He is 6'6" tall. They ... perfect but I am concerned about shrinkage after they are ... They can't lose any length. The material is good quality and looks like they will hold up. The color is also good. I'm glad I can get these online in the 36" length because it is impossible to find it in the stores. Overall, very satisfied with purchase.

Better than expected
I read lots of negative things about these ... but it was the absolute last style that might possibly ... my husband. He plays soccer and bikes and has thighs that are much bigger than his waist. None of the other GAP styles ... all and these seemed like they might be too tight in the leg but as the day went on they got cuter and cuter. They might run a bit short in the length as the 32 ... my husband perfectly even though he normally would need a 31. Overall it's the best thing we could find for a big legged man who isn't a big man.

Easy ... not so easy
I've been buying easy / relaxed ... Gap ... well past a decade (I still miss the button fly option). I usually buy four at a time and reorder as those wear out every few years. My most recent batch has been "updated" for the worse, in my opinion. Gone is the nice simple light ... plain rear pockets made from sure denim being replaced with trendy, weared ... God forsaken "whiskers" in front and stitching on the rear pockets. Oh, Gap, why do you hurt me so! The sure and quality denim has been replaced with a thin, stretchy denim that makes me feel weak inside. I could get over the stitching on the rear pockets, no big deal... But, it would be nice if the pockets weren't sewn on halfway down my butt. I may be on the "bad" side of 40, but I have money and am a loyal customer. I guess those things don't matter any more. Why can't trendy products stand next to the tried and true? Thanks anyway, Gap.

Quality
I have always liked GAP brand jeans..HOWEVER, for the last few times Ive had to purchase any ... Ive notice that the quality is not as good as they used to be!! They do not seem to hold up as good as they once did, the inseams are not sewn like they once use to be..There has been several times that the crotch area have torn trying to get in and/or out of a vehicle and it my be the third or fourth time Ive worn the jeans.(so naturaly Id have to turn around and buy more!)....ALSO It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to EVER find that you have my size in stock and when they are in stock..they are NEVER on sale!! My size is 36x36 (tall). I have been keeping my eye out and looking and possibly thinking of going back to my old LEVIS brand!

Very Disappointed
I've been wearing nothing but Gap ... past 15 plus years. I have a dozen pairs or so that I purchased years ago and they ... great but they are just falling apart. I purchased 2 pair of the easy ... style and can't believe the difference, they ... nothing like the old style easy ... waist is way to big, the hips are too big, the legs are very wide, the only thing that is ok is the length. I don't understand why the Gap just couldn't leave them alone. I don't mind paying the increased price, but I want something that ... decent. The gap made their name on great ... sweats, sweaters and now they have nothing to brag about, it's no wonder they have had financial problems over the past few years. From reading other comments, most people want you to get back to the basics, it will pay off in the long run.

big disappointment
My Gap days are officially over!!!!!!!! I recently purchased a pair of easy ... Gap. I have bought my men's ... Gap for over 25 years and I have always purchased easy ... stonewashed ... size 30/30. These most recent ... were HORRIBLE. When I compared the tag numbers of the new pair to the old pair I noticed a couple of differences. Turn your ... inside out and look at the white tag attached to the lining of the left pocket. I did this and noticed that some of the numbers on the tags differed. Both tags have the word Stonewashed. Under the word Stonewashed both tags have the number 197017-00-1. Under that is the number 401 on both tags. However, my old wonderful ... have the numbers Z0230-20 while the new HORRIBLE ... have the number R1201/4977714. These ... absolutely SUCK. The waistline droops and i feel like a baby wearing a soiled diaper as the rear sags. Until The Gap brings back my old ... design I will REFUSE TO BUY ANY MORE ... GAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After 6 years wearing his favorite ... 1969 style, they had finally worn through at the knee. Being 6'6" and 260#, it is hard for him to find clothes that are youthful and causal for a college student as most big and tall stores styles aren't quite acceptable to him. Believe me, I've tried. I looked online to order the exact pants he had worn all these years. They were the same heavy denim, much to my surprise. By wearing them on his hips they are just long enough. A 38" length would be a wonderful option for tall guys so that they don't have to buy the larger waist size in order fpr the pants to sit low enough on the hip to be long enough. If he weren't a college football player, the larger size would be too generous in the thighs but for us, it is just right. We've found the only option that works with your ... appreciate the different denim color options. Thanks!

my husband''s favorite ...
We've been buying these ... years -- they last and my husband LIKES THEM. That's a big deal, because there's no use spending money on ... if you're not going to actually wear them. Other ... seem to come into rotation only when all his Gap ... dirty. Worth the money. They're comfortable and look great on. We love the vintage ... because it looks a little more modern than the others.

I was very impressed
The ... perfect. I am all about great ... my profile name suggest. Normally GAP ... feel a little boxxy but this pair is perfect. I have enough leg room it not too big, not too small and overall a really good pair to have in your collection.

Great Fitting ...
These are great fitting ... my build. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a good ... good price that needs that extra room to move. I have been looking for loose ... while that has room in the thigh for my big legs. I am not into the tight for close ... need room to move and room to put things in my front pocket. Now I do have to say being so happy with these that I then ordered a the pale blue ... ones and was disappointed that it did not seem true to the same size as these vintage one. I was a little short and tighter.. I am not giving up hope.

Husband''s Favorite Pair Of Denim
We went to the San Francisco Flagship store and my husband tried on multiple pairs of denim styles and almost walked out of the store empty handed. We decided to ask a sales associate what was the best cut which had the loosest leg and the sales associate recommended the 'loose' ... My husband is a big fan of slightly fitted with some looseness at the legs and these ... perfect. The was wasnt too light either which was another plus.

well, overall this ... come out as expected. but one thing is the rear kinda loose, make you look big when u look at on the side way. but it all good ... confortable... and nice... but it kinda shorter than other i bought.. overall i wish gap could have more touch to the ... like more ... style to select from in loose ...

The ... were too big. Returning them was easy.

I was disappointed to have my husband try these on and to see that the waist was much larger than a 34, we ordered the 33x36. We ordered the 33 thinking that would be a great size since tha is what he gets with other brands. It is much too big and this style of pants does not come any smaller in the waist if we want the 36" inseam. I wish it would. if it did we would be buying more of this style in other colors. We had to return both.

Sizes are random
I had been waiting for months to buy these new ... every week I was going into my local Gap for the sales person to say "we will get a shipment in next week". Finally I decided to just purchase online [...] since the 1969 loose seemed to be available. Well the months of waiting was all for not. These ... have been the biggest let down. I ordered 3 pairs of these ... only one of them ... yet all of them were the same size. What is the difference you might ask? The difference is that they are manufactured in different countries. Two of the ... were manufactured in China and one was made in Guatemala. The ... made in China were too small all around. They were tight enough in the waist that I knew if I washed them once they would be too tight to wear. The length also was a full inch shorter than I would have liked or that my other older Gap ... one pair that was made in Guatemala, well those ... were almost too big. I figure a couple of ... they will be perfect. I am planning on returning the two pairs of ... made in China and keeping one one pair that fits. I do think it's disappointing that you can't buy ... consistent anymore. For as much money as Gap put into this new ... campaign I would think that they would have locked down some of the basics like making sure sizes are what they say they are. "America's best fitting ... Well, you are only 1/3 right Gap. FAIL!

what is going on with quality control with the gap???
I am very displeased with my purchase of ... gap. My wife also got me a pair of ... gap online at the same time i purchased a pair online. They were different styles but ordered in the same size. The pair I ordered were supposed to be a size 38 waist and when I tried them on they were about 5 sizes too big, and the pair my wife got me were ordered in the same size 38 waist and those were about 3 sizes too big!!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON WITH YOUR QUALITY CONTROL GAP??? I CAN'T EVEN FEEL COMFORTABLE PURCHASING YOUR ... ONLINE ANYMORE BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO GET!!!! Thanks for nothing!!

Never Again
My husband's bday was Dec 3rd. He was in desperate need of some clothes, and I turned to trust worthy gap to get him some pants, as several years ago, that is all that he would wear. He should be in a 38-40. I picked up two pair of 38s. (One for bday and one I stored away for Christmas.) Same exact size, loose fit 38 X 32. He put on his first pair. (He should REALLY be in a 40, but the first pair was WAY too big in the waist. (By more than an inch) and the pants were too long. We decided to take them back, so of course I had to pull out the Christmas pair too. He tried those on....and PERFECT fit and length! The pair that is way too big was made in China. The pair that fit right was made in Vietnam. Although the pair from nam fit right, the pockets are definately too big, spreading all the way too his thigh, and makes his rear end look really flat and wide. (And my baby has a NICE back side in ... usually). Today when I take the ... back, we're just getting a refund and going else where like [...] to look for other brands. DISSAPOINTED AT THE FIT, LOOK, AND THE PRICE!!!

Finally found a pair of loose fit jeans for my fiance! He was down to his last pair because the other brand stopped making their loose (in order to make skinny jeans probably). He is a big guy with thick muscled legs so he literally couldn't find jeans that fit him, pants in general are a nightmare to shop for him! So these don't fit him "loose," they look more like the authentic or straight on him. Once I knew they fit him, I bought 3 more pairs! Keep making these please Gap!

I like these jeans because they fit a big person like me. The other gap jeans you sell I can get into but they are so tight around the thigh that only skinny people can wear them. I do not like to wear jeans that are three sizes too big and then tighten the belt so they stay up. I am happy with the Gap loose fit jeans so I donated my Calvin Klein jeans to charity because they were so tight I could not get the zipper up after a couple washes. I like the Gap loose fit jeans so much I bought them in a different wash that my local Gap store in Ardmore supplied. Thank You Anthony Joseph

I've worn Gap jeans for 15 years. These jeans fit great and have a little room in the thighs unlike Banana Republic and Old Navy jeans. I don't have real big legs so these jeans work for me, but if you have above average legs, these jeans will probably be too tight. Since these are the Gap's biggest jeans, I think they need to make them with a little more room through the thighs. People aren't getting smaller and not everyone wants 'skinny jeans'.

Pretty good jeans.
Overall these are a pretty solid pair of jeans. They're comfortable and fit fairly well. I have 3 pairs and the waist is a little inconsistent, plus it runs a little big. If you don't want them falling off your rear I'd suggest ordering one waist size smaller than your usual jeans. I could also do without the glow in-the dark "1969" on the back side where a tag would usually be but other than that I like them.

like the wash
well, this ... wear it every week.. love it... the con is the rear kinda loose a little.. i mean just a little, make my rear look big, look like a inflated balloon... if it tight up a liitle i would give 5 star... overall it really confortable jeans to wear.. and unique, i wear it no one in school have same jeans as me.. feel special... ^__^

Super Cool Jeans if you have the time to try them on in the store.Another reviewer said the sizing seems to be different in stores and online and that is absolutely correct. I happened to get lucky and recieve the right size. Like I said if you get the right size the jeans are quite nice. Big improvement over the past few seasons. Good Luck.

I'm a big guy and jeans are hard to find. Have to order a 44x30. I like the feel and fit of the jeans. My only argument with these jeans is that I feel like I'm wearing bell bottoms. The leg opening is way too big. It's an 11 inch opening. I wish gap would close this to about 8 or 9 inches. In these big sizes, it's hard to find jeans that are perfect I know. I really do like the jeans other than the leg openings.

Doesn''t fit right
It's impressive how with all the advances in technology, the companies haven't got it right when it regards of sizes. I have to keep looking where the pairs of Jeans have been made in order to know if the size will be the right one or not. A year ago I bought a 32-30 loose fit that fits perfect, and now the 31-30 loose fit that they manufacture are too big from the waist. Identical models, just made in different countries. It looks like the measurements depends on the country you are producing. I hope there comes a day when you can really purchase online and don't worry about the true size of the jeans being bought.

Way too loose in the waste... geez
I bought 40w34L they were more like 42w34L or even 44W. When I buy 40x34L from Old Navy (sister company) the waste is fine. No amount of washing is going to save these. They are just way too big in the waste. They will fall right off with no belt. There are obviously size issues here, as other users have posted. I do like the style, so I will give it one more try with 38w34L. This time I will just return to a local store before washing if size is wrong again since I know what to expect. These jeans just don't shrink much after several washings, so if they are way to big when new, forget it. Send them back. Please fix your sizes Gap!
