Perfect
Got these for my husband as he needs the long length (33x36) and he loves them! Thanks for making bootcut ... sizes that are current yet not over the-top trendy! He said they remind him of his designer ... but at a fraction of the price!

Solid Bootcut Fit
I bought these ... my husband, who needed a pair to fit over cowboy boots. These were perfect. Good cut, good fit, nice plain low key look. He usually wears skinnies, and he was worried that this pair would look baggy or dated. It doesn't. Sharp look. My husband is 6'2", and the 36" inseam is perfect with the low heeled boots.

trendy wash
I always come back to the Gap when I am looking for my next pair of ... Their sizes are true and fit well. 34x32 means 34x32. I like the wash of this "authenic" style, they are a little trendy for my taste but are great for going out. I stick to the bootcut style because I like the way it falls on my shoes, but the wide opening seems to have gotten small recently. I am not a fan of the "skinny", "slim", or "straight" ... they do not flatter most people. Hopefully that trend will pass soon, but in the mean time Gap ... still a strong contender for everyday clothes.

Quality made and fits as advertised. These bootcut ... not excessively flaired but they do the job.

great quality ... always buy my son the bootcut style usually fom AE these are tighter in the legs than expected- kept them but would prefer an easy fit in Gap styles

not true to size
i've ordered several pairs of these, but i've had to return all of them because they've all been at least a size too ... i'm a 28/32, but the waist on these ... 28 is more like a 29 or a 30, which means they end up too loose in the seat and leg too. i had hoped the inconsistency in sizes that gap is notorious for would work to my benefit, and i would eventually end up with a pair that wasn't too loose or too snug. that didn't work out well; they all fit too loose. if they would make these true to size, like they've started doing with their t shirts, then i'd buy a couple pairs to kick around in until they bring back the old bootcut ... which i'm still pining for.

So happy to find them long enough
Got these for my teenage son who is very skinny and ... He has been wearing another brand in bootcut 28 or 29W and 32 L, but they're getting short (but unfortunately, not much tighter in the waist.) That brand requires you to go up to a 30W to get longer than a 32L. Happily, Gap has 29W 34L in bootcut, so these fit him well and are plenty long enough. He loves the Dark Star Indigo wash. The quality is what you expect from Gap and I'm sure they'll hold up well.

Athletic build friendly...a decent pair of jeans
I like these ... I'm 6'3" and football/basketball player build and it's usually hard to find a pair of ... fit well. I have big/muscular thighs and usually thats a problem but not with these. They are a decent but I think overpriced. For as much as these ... cost a pair of Levi 501s would definitely be better as far as quality. Overall, I'm not blown away but I'm satisfied.

Nice Fit
Bought 4 pairs of these jeans for my 14 yr old son. He is very thin with a 27" waist, and about 5'11" tall. It is difficult to find jeans to really fit him well. The waist is still a little big - but workable. I suggested a belt, but he does not use one - and they aren't falling down on him! :) As far as quality, it depends on the color you choose. We initially tried the blue black wash, and the knee split open 2 weeks after we purchased them - and that was with regular wear, no harsh activity or crawling on the floor. All 4 pair he uses now are indigo wash, which seems to be a better quality (a little heavier) ...

It''s alright!
Love the color on these ... If you're looking for a little flair at the bottom, this is not the pair of ... you're looking for. It's under bootcut, but I found the hemline rather narrow. If you're talk and lanky, then you should get these ... : )

Don''t fit the same
These ... different than the bootcut I bought last year. The leg is too loose. Had to return them. Bring back the old style!

GAP ... never again
There used to be a time where I only and exclusively purchased ... GAP, and only their boot cut. Their bootcut ... were perfect, perfect denim, perfect fit, it just wasn't worth it for me to look into something else. Then something happened at the GAP, they started getting more expensive, and the quality of their clothes in general went south.Then, the ice of the cake, they changed what was a perfect boot cut ... making it sit low on the waist, and more skinnier and tight on the legs....I'm not kidding I still have a pair of GAP ... 2006! sure they look used, but they're still great, probably some of the best ... I've owned... great fit, great denim, thick material, robust...but most important, they still fit way better and look way better than the poop they sell today... Last time I bought from the GAP I purchased a sweater. I always follow wash and care instructions. After the first wash, the sweater, supposedly 100% cotton, already look horrible, with wrinkles, almost like a acrylic product.

Dissapointing Quality!
This will be my 3rd pair of ... return for the same issue. I previously bought 2 pairs of the 38x36 bootcut 1969 ... 1-16-13 only to return both pairs due to the button falling out on the fly. These ... actually a size too big for me as ideally I would wear a 37x36. Upon putting my pant on the buttons simply came out of their hole before I put tension on them! Same thing happend on 1 of the 2 replacement pair of ... first wash!!! I didn't even get a chance to wear them!! My previous pairs of the same style/size i have had for more than 2 years are hold up still (though they are ratty looking)!!!
