LOVE!!
I used to purchase basic white tanks from Old Navy. They were my staple. Come spring, I'd buy 10 of them because I wore them under everything and they were long! Now, Old Navy stopped making them so long and I didn't know what I was going to do..... until I found these. These are better than Old Navy! WAY better. I love them. They are long and have the perfect amount of stretch. I ordered the TALL because I wanted them longer. Sizing is exactly as it should be.

Great Tank Top!
Great basic staple in my wardrobe...wear alot and always buy in multiples. Nice body hugging fit, not tight...perfect amount of stretch so they retain their shape. Soft and lightweight, not sheer...nice to wear alone or layered during Spring, Summer, and early Fall in Southern California. Thin enough to wear under shirts and sweaters without adding bulk.

Classic, simple tank tops
I bought three of these in different colors and have been quite happy. I went with xs and was pleased with the fit. They don't stretch out of shape while wearing so they look neater than many similar tops I've had. A great basic.

Useful Basic
This is a basic piece which can be worn as underwear in cooler weather or with thin tops, or on its own if one is going for a sexy & casual look. The basic cut also means it will be easy to accessorise over.

Best basic tank top from Gap so far! Very comfortable and flattering fit. Got this in white and grey colors.

My favorite tank!
Very comfortable tank! A must have basic in your closet. I have purchase a total of 5 so far in white, black and grey. Enough stretch but not too much! Would totally recommend it to friends!

Wishing it were an inch longer
I ordered a Petite medium because I couldn't find the color that I wanted in the regular medium size (sold out). Although I am happy with the tank overall, I wish it were just a tad bit longer. Other than that, I am happy that I have this basic in my closet to wear with multiple outfits :)

Good Basic Tank
I always buy the Gap ribbed tank tops for summer. Although this year they seem to be running a little long in the body, not that I am complaining. Otherwise, it seems to be true to size. For the money this is a good basic tank for the summer months!

I had to get all new tank tops because all my 100% cotton size XL ones are too big (I just lost about 30 pounds), pretty old, and stretched out from wearing them all the time. The 100% cotton ones are nice, but they stretch out quickly and do not hold their shape. They do bounce back after being washed. But anyway, I was going to order these in a size L, then I read everyone's reviews and they said how these tanks ran small and were tight because of the spandex and all. So I ordered them in an XL. In practically every color. And they were too big. So I had to exchange them for L's, which to be honest, are a bit too small, but I am still losing weight, so I would rather them be too small than too big. The material is a little thin...I wish they were a bit thicker. But otherwise, I good basic tank. I live in Hawaii, so I wear these a lot, so thanks Gap for making them without polyester in them or anything.

a little too sixties
this is a nice enough basic tank, with a flattering fit. but the color, which in the picture looked like a dusky rose, is actually more of a sixties kind of purple, very bright. other than that, it is ok -- a basic cut, decently thick material. it would have been four star if the color had been more what i expected.

Not what I thought
You can never have enough tees and tanks is my motto. The tall is a true tall, long length for long torsos but I didn't like the cut in the back very much. The material is soft and the color is gorgeous (the orange one esp.) but it's the old school cut in tank tops. In other words it's not the low cut U in the back as it is in the front. I'd stock up on these if that were the case, but since not all 3 are going back! Better improvement Gap but keep trying, you're almost there!
