why it''s so tight
it's very soft and easy to get on. But it's too tight, we bought 12-18 months for our 5 months old baby, it seems ok now. I'm sure that 2 months later it ll not be able to fit him. My baby is about 75% in weight.

So cute!
I think this little outfit is so cute. I haven't had my baby yet, so I can't put it on him, but I purchased it so that it will be his first outfit on the ride home from the hospital. Then after that, I'm going to get a shadow box and put the outfit in the shadow box so we have it as a memory and hang it on his wall in his room! I can't wait to see my handsom little boy it it!

Super cute for my little man!
I really love these pajamas! They are perfect for my little guy who is long and super skinny. I can see where chubby ... wouldn't wear them as well. But since my ... so thin, they are perfect. One thing i don't like about them is the tiny feet.

better for under 6 months
I love how soft this fabric is. It's the softest I've found. HOWEVER, I would not recommend these for ... 6-12 months. The reason is that the fabric gets stretched out, and does not rebound back until washing. My baby boy (9 month) gets "caught up" and stuck in the fabric. And in the middle of the night he ended up with his arm coming out the neck hole. Also once we're up in the morning or before bed, when he is crawling around, his knees get caught up in the torso part. Some might say that maybe it's b/c they are too big, but that is not the problem. Lengthtwise they fit well, they just need to be a little tighter to the skin and the stretch needs to move with him, not get streched out with no return. His feet don't stay down in the feet part, b/c it is too loose as well. I think it needs some lycra or something like that. Since younger ... aren't rolling over in their sleep or moving around as much and can't crawl, then these would probably be fine. It's the movement that causes the problem.

Feet are WAY too Small!
I ordered this in the up to 7 lb size for a brand new baby...not necessarily a preterm baby. Most brand new ... actually fit better in preemie clothing better than newborn just due to length. I love the simpleness of the suit, but the feet measure 1" long! Seriously! I have never seen a baby with feet that are only 1" long!

Great Sleeper, But Needs Some Work
This sleeper is so cute, the navy is so lush. I love that its simple and doesn't have logos or words or anything. That's so hard to find in baby clothes. The fabric is soft and slim fitting, perfect for my long and lean boy. It would be awesome if this sleeper had elastic at the feet since that would keep the feet on the ankles better. A tread would probably be great for ... little older. The feet are a little small.

SIZING OFF?????
I ordered a few of these all the same size 0-3 months and are all different lengths? my light blue one is about 2 in longer than my brown! I guess you need to go to the store and compare. All of my GAP baby items are different lengths in this size range. I have not had my baby yet to wear them but it is really annoying. I think you need a new manufacture maybe a US manufacture will do better job?? The only nice thing is that they are really soft so Iam goingto keep them and see how they work out but please fix this!!

I LOVE these pj's...but for a newborn (0-3mth)! I bought these for my son when he was first born and he kind of swam in it at first, but they were so soft and cute. I ended up buying the 6-12mth one as well, but thought he'd never fit into them because they were SO long! He does wear them now, 7mths, but they are still really long and horrible for when he crawls. I do not recommend if your ... mobile. However, I do love that they are light weight, very good for AZ and warm weather, but other than that not so much.

Supermodel ... would love this outfit
I bought a 6-12 month size of this footed PJ for my kid who is almost 8 months old. It is incredibly long but the chest doesn't seem big enough as the buttons gape. My son can't wear it yet for sure and I fear that in another month or two when he's long enough to wear it, the chest will be too tight. So frustrating. I gave it two stars rather than one only because I love the fabric, which is super soft and nice. But I'm not buying anything from the Gap anymore for my kid because they seem to be designed for some weird, supertall skinny baby.

Small Feet, Big Disappointment
My two year-old son lived in this product when he was a baby. I bought one of ever color and every size. When I found out I was expecting another baby, a boy, I bought more. Now my son is two weeks old and I am very disappointed. In the last two years, Gap has DRASTICALLY changed the cut of this product. My son's feet are crammed into the feet of the one piece. The fabric is also not as soft. The only thing that remains the same is the upper body and sleeves. Thank goodness I kept my eldest son's footed one pieces! I do not recommend purchasing the new version of the Favorite Footed One Piece.

Why?
Why would you ever change the previous design of this wonderful piece?????? Why???? What happened to the hand guards for newborns? Why are the feet so short now? I wanted to give several for a gift to a new nephew but thankfully read the reviews and had the new ones sent to me first. After a brief look over the pieces, it is clear that these are different from the ones I received for my ... just 10 months ago. WHY?
