My son loves these ... material is soft for denim and slightly thinner so they are super comfortable. He is tall and thin- the 12 slim fit great (still need to adjust the waist). He lives in these. I only bought two pairs and probably need to get a few more!

Great ... great price
Love that these come with the the sizers at the waist so my skinny son can wear them. :) Makes it so I can buy them a little big and they will still fit in the waist and I can just cuff the bottoms until he sprouts up again. He can wear them for about year, which is amazing.

Jeans need snaps or hooks !
My son looks best in Carpenter jeans and these are great. Of course we love the adjustable waist. But I really, really wish they were made with snaps or the hooks that slide. He absolutely cannot work these buttons.

Too big
My son wears huskys. These run a size larger around the hips, thighs and waist. Good quality but not going to work.

Perfect ... boys
I originally bought ... 14 slim because ... son wears gap chino pants for school and the 12 slim in those were getting a bit short. The 14 slim ... were huge and very, very long. I exchanged for a 12 slim and ... still pretty long - but he likes them that way. So, don't compare size to the gap chinos. But ... super great ... Great price and really "cool" on. Perfect for 11-year old boys! The slim are great for skinny guys and even at 11 I still have to love the adjustable ... bands - we can't live without those.

I discovered Gap ... son a couple of sizes ago. He is very slim, so slim with an adjustable ... must. ... relaxed fit on him and he looks great. Cords are next!

Great ... price
My son is very small in size, so the length of the ... always fine but the ... always too big. ... great ... because ... have the adjustable tabs inside the waistband. We usually really have to cinch them up but ... look great and fit him perfectly when ... color was a favorite with my son. His school has a dress code so you can't wear the trendy frayed or ... holes. ... just distressed enough to be cool, but still meet dress code requirements. We'll definately buy again! And the sale price was great!

Always a winner!
My son loves ... pants are durable. I bought several pairs in Aug. 2012 and none have holes in the knees or elsewhere. My son just grew and needed a larger size. He is 41.5" tall and weighs 64 lbs., I ordered size 8. We always have to ... so we love that ... have an adjustable ... which is harder to find in other brands, especially once boys get older. He likes the hook and bar closure instead of a snap button because it is easier. I have bought ... 4 years straight and have never had any problems. The quality is consistently great, ... comfortable and with sales or coupons ... affordable. (Remember, you get what you pay for so I would rather pay a little more for durability.) If you buy the dark rinse, ... only look better as ... wear. I do hang them to dry which stretches out the life of the pants. We will continue to purchase ... long as ... sold at the GAP. Thank you GAP!!!!!

Finally ... slim boys
At size 18, the ... still have the adjustable ... which is a necessity for my son. We've tried everything and finally have found that Gap is one of the few stores that makes slim ... larger boy sizes. I only wish ... were available in the store.

I love Gap Kids ... extemely skinny and tall son. ... fit well without looking baggy even though I have to pull the adjustable ... 6 button holes on each side. ... don't look cinched, ... still look normal. I just wish that all the boys ... had reinforced knees, he is blowing them out so fast!!!

These are the cutest on my little one
I like Gap ... my sons. They seem to fit my boys the best. I only buy them on sale because I think they are over priced. I recently returned two pairs because they were thinner and did not have the adjustable waist. These are the right ... - good thickness and an adjustable waist.

Classic ...
I had these ... my son last season and I loved them, so I bought them again for the coming fall/winter season; the denim is nice and soft, they will, of course, fade over time, but that happens with any ... like the adjustable waist since I do feel they run a little big.

Perfect Dark Wash
These ... perfect dark wash for my toddler boy. They are durable and stylish just like other Gap ... but also comfortable. I feel that they run a little large, but with the adjustable waist it isn't a issue. And I think they look best with a cuff at the bottom. Perfect!

love these ... my 17 month old...he's tall but a little thinner for his height, so the adjustable waist is awesome. I got the 2 and rolled the pant legs, so plenty of room for growth! love the dark color too

Great ... but large
I love Gap ... my kids. They hold up nicely and look even better! these ... run very large for my 2 1/2 year old. I love that they have the adjustable waist band though, and he's able to still wear them. I have to roll up the pant cuff as well, but that's o.k. he's average height and weight-30 lbs. I will continue to put my kids in nothing but Gap ... because of the quality, and the adjustable waist bands!

my tall, thin 10-year old loves these
My son wears these almost every day. Comfortable, durable, nice looking, wear well. And because he is thin and tall, we get the "slim" version--we can buy for length and he can draw in the elastic as needed at the waist. I was washing two or three pairs in the last size, but this time went ahead and got him five pairs. Hopefully he won't outgrow them in a few months!

Dark, but nice ...
Gotta love GAP! My son is a 12 husky and it is so difficult to find that size in the store. These ... fit just as expected, actually a bit loose, but that is okay as they are in the dryer right now and I can expect some shrinkage, plus they have a adjustable waist! Color is dark, but otherwise great.

The only ... him
My son has a very small waist, but very long legs. These ... best we can find as not only do they have a long length for their size, but at a size 16 they still have an adjustable waist. He does have to adjust the waist in to the smallest he can make it, but these are the best fit we have found.

Good for certain builds
I ordered two pair of these ... - one for an average build kiddo and one for a boys who has a sturdier buiild but who isn't thick enough to wear husky ... definitely be ordering more for the latter child because they fit him amazingly well. I also ordered some straight fit for child number one; while the straight fit was perfect for him, the loose fit fell off even with the adjustable waist tightened up completely. The loose fit was way too loose for him, so those will be going back, while the loose fit is perfect for my in between build son.

A little big
I measured my son but the size of the waist was really bigger than expected. He doesn't mind wearing a belt and there is elastic in the waistband to adjust the size so it's not a big deal.

good ...
These ... good, they run a little big in the waist but they are adjustable. Wish they came in another wash would order them. It is so hard finding a 6husky.

Pretty Good
I really like the GAP Loose ... my son. They are one of a few that really fit pretty good. My son has a small waist and is larger in the bottom and hips. I went with the same size as last year and they work well in the hips but there is a big gap in the back because of his smaller waist to hips ratio. Please consider in the future making ... elastic waist to remedy this issue.

not bad, not good.
Well, after waiting 17 days for these, they are okay. The waist is not much bigger than the size 10 my son was wearing, which is where he needed some room. This style seems less roomy than what I have had in the past in the same ... My son doesn't like them, but he'll have to get by for now until we can shop together, as online with the gap for dependable delivery or sizing is over.

Love these!
These are always a great pick for my son. He is an active and thin 4 year old so the adjustable waist is a must. The lightweight soft fabric also keeps him comfortable and in style. Will continue to purchase in the future.

favorite ... my son!
i love these ... bought two pairs in the same size and one in the next size. i love them because they are super super soft! my son is crawling all over and i hate putting him in any ... pants that are stiff and feel uncomfortable! these ... feel thin, but they've held up for a few months now of crawling and he probably wears them 2-3 times a week! the fit is great, especially with the adjustable waist. my son is NOT THIN and these work great for him! wish they had them in different "washes", but the wash they come in is good!

Softest ...
These are one of my favorite pairs of ... my son owns. They are super super soft. The material is on the thinner side so if you are looking for something durable you may not want to go with these. These are very easy to move in. These do seem to run long. My son is in 4T but wears a 3T in these.. which makes the waist a little snug on him. It's OK if it's not tightened but I feel that Gap should make these a little looser to give more room to grow.

BEST TODDLER ... EVER!
I Love these ... they are so soft and comfy. I have a tall and skinny little boy and these fit great! All other ... too big in the waist and too short- these fit perfect! They are great! Please get more in stock! We have 4 pairs in this size, but need the next size!

Love that Gap added the adjustable elastic inside the waist band! So much better than the pull on ones with the knit waist. I will definitely keep buying these!

I love these light weight ... my kids. They are much more comfortable than any other ... we ever bought. And they are not as loose as I feared. My kids are very skinny and the adjustable waist makes it possible for them to wear these ... although they are called 'loose', they are not too wide in the leg. Thanks Gap fo these awesome ...

LOVE! New favorite ...
These ... far the best toddler ... around! My son used to wear the childrens place ... but once I found these I will not buy anything else. There are so soft and comfy and the fit is so great! I have a tall toddler (3 feet tall) and the size 2t are perfect for him. Most ... too short. The adjustable waistband is awesome and these are loose enough that I feel like has full mobility in them. Some ... seemed to restrict his climbing and thus he would wear sweats more, but since I found these he'll be wearing them so much. So cute!

Love These
These ... only ... my tiny 3 year old (30 lbs.) can wear. His waste is more of a 2T, but the adjustable waistband saves us. The fit is adorable, and the cut looks like an older boy's ... love the color, too! The only reason I did not give these ... 5 stars is because the denim is thin. The ... we bought last year ended the season with a hole in the knee from my son crawling around at daycare. Regardless, these will always be a staple in his wardrobe!

They kind of reminded me of a girl ... waist. I'll be bringing them back. And trying on any other pair first. I will say the material of the ... were soo soft. I soo wish they would of worked out for him. i could tell they would be very comfy :(

Not the same!
This style of ... has been the ONLY style of ... have bought for my 4 year old since he was 2. The style has changed, the waist sits the same, but there seems to be more space and the back (butt) of the pants hangs down more now and looks baggy. Besides the fit, previously these ... have always been durable. At the end of August 2012, I bought my son 5 pairs of these for preschool, he isn't all that rough on his ... (no more than any other 4 year old) and 4 of the 5 pairs of ... we just bought have HUGE holes in the knees. Needless to say we will be finding another brand.

Gap has the best ... toddlers
At least for my son, a skinny string bean who needs a 2T for the waist but a 3T for length. I got the 3T, cinch in the waist with the inside elastic (thank goodness for that in kids' clothes!) and cuff the bottoms so he can wear them in the spring and the fall. Gap ... seem to be cut slimmer in the leg (these are not skinny ... but they are not baggy like carpenters), which works better for my son.

Love these ...
These ... perfect for my 2 year old boys. They are a little skinnier than other boys their age. The adjustable waist is perfect for them. I am happy to finally have found some ... not to wide for my kids. I will definitely buy more gap ...

Just right
LOVED IT! I have a chubby and big 2 yr old and it was hard for me to find ... were comfortable for him in the waist area but these were JUST RIGHT :)

My FAVORITE ... my 2 boys
SO glad these were back in stock in the size I needed. I had been obsessively stalking gap.com for them! These are the perfect weight, super comfy & soft, but still look nice and sharp. They are the perfect shade too - nice and dark but not extremely dark. They always fit perfectly and are the perfect length, which is hard to find in kids' ... They ARE always too big in the waist for both my boys, but honestly all pants are big in the waist on them...and thankfully these have the adjustable waist feature which has been a lifesaver for me. These wash well and look great. The teachers and parents at the school are always commenting on how nice my kids look in their clothes.

Great for my 2 year old!
I bought these ... my tall 2 year old in a size 3T. They were a tad big and so I washed and dryed them, they did not shrink up much, which was fine because with the adjustable waist I was able to give my son the perfect fit, with no belt needed! He didn't cry or complain about these ... all, in fact he ran around and played in them all day long. They did start to sag on him after a little while, but I just tightened the waistband again and they were fine. He is in pullups so that little bit of added bulk helped fill them out. He looked so cute and stylish in these and I love that they were lightweight and comfortable for him, these are great!!

Other brands don''t compare
There is something so wonderful about Gap ... toddler's, they are super soft, wash well, I love the adjustale waist and look so darn cute!. The 18 - 24 month on my 19 month old toddler boy are a little big but I will put them in the dryer and they should be fine. He weights 25 lbs.

Great ...
Great ... great price. The adjustable waistband helps this pair of denim fit my narrow waisted four year old perfectly. The denim is light weight making them more comfy and flexible for an active boy.

Run a full size big!
Bought 12-18 months which is what he is wearing in all other GAP clothes. These ... were WAY on the large size! I rolled a cuff into the ... have the waist cinched all of the way in and they fit, but I would have sized down had I known this! They are really lightweight though, I love that comfy feel for ...

Good fit

stylish AND practical
I LOVE Gap ... my boys. They look darling but are also very durable. I can count on a pair of ... holding up for the whole season, whereas ... other stores get worn out before my boys grow out of them. ... great - and you can't beat the adjustable ... band!

Loved the ... They're actually for my son...he's slim but tall, so I really like the adjustable ... feature. The length is perfect too!

My boys have worn GAP loose fit ... forever. I just buy the next size up to be ready for the growth spurt. They fit well and the adjustable ... great! I don't have hand me-downs because both my boys wear out the knee (yes, only one side!) but otherwise they are durable and comfortable. My only disappointment in ... however is that they are no longer avaialble in stores - just online only.

Inconsistent Sizing
First, Thank you, Gap, for having SLIMS in boys' sizes up to 18! I just wish you carried them in your stores. I ordered 2 of ... 18 slim for my son who is tall and slim but not big enough yet for ... sized pants. The sizing chart said that the ... would be 27" and the length would fit up to 5'7". The length was as expected--my son is about 5'5-6" and there is enough length to last him for a while. However one pair came in with a 27" ... other pair came in with a 28" ... He tried both on and when one was too big, I measured their waists. The one that fit was exactly 27" as expected. The other, which is marked 18 slim, measured 28" and is too loose for him to wear so has to be sent back. This is a lack of quality control. (There was no "inspected by" number in the pocket, either!) I will exchange for another pair, but an only hope that the next pair they send will be cut properly. He loves the style, though, and wears the one that fits all the time.

Slims NOT for slim kid
Bought ... my tall & slim son, but the LOOSE style not good for long & lean boys. Even with the adjustable ... slim size version of ... has a ... that's much too large. We also ordered the ORIGINAL style ... those worked perfectly for slim size.

... too big
My son got original ... which fit without adjusting the waste and then put ... they practically fell to the floor. I pulled in the ... but they were still really big. I know the name is "loose" but ... were giant. My son is borderline slim so if you have a bigger kid they might be fine.
