Gap Inc. launched P.A.C.E. in 2007 in partnership with vendors and global and local
non-governmental organizations (NGOs). We leverage our company resources and expertise
and these critical partnerships to provide skills, technical training, and educational learning
to female garment workers through the P.A.C.E. program. More than 17,000 women have
participated in P.A.C.E. so far — and the number is growing every day.
In 2013, we established the P.A.C.E. Digital Network, a group of online publishers dedicated to covering issues related to women, education, and corporate social responsibility. The network
will publish stories spotlighting the inspiring women of P.A.C.E. and covering the power of
investing in women.
